The story so far..

We arrived in Cairns and chilled there for a few days, during which we dived in the Great Barrier Reef (nice - but not as good as Koh Tao, although we did see a Cuttlefish and they change colour whcih is crazy on the eyes!)

Had a fun but heavy night out (inc. a Wet t-shirt competition - which quickly became a no t-shirt competition! Winner! And sorry, but this time no photos.) before leaving Cairns and we are now on a two week custom package with sailing and 4WD thrown in whilst making our way down to Surfer's Paradise (just South of Brisbane.) By then it'll be the 24th and I have to exit Oz by the 9th March.. Which leaves 2 weeks to do Sydney and Melbourne (Pronounced: "Melbun", else you sound like t**t apparently)

Have met loads of peeps over this side - it's far more urbanised on the East coast and it seems this is where everyone hangs out. It's also very expensive because unless you are spending a million dollars on doing some activity, there's very little else to do but drink! I never thought I'd say it but I miss having a job. I'm sure there are many people who would glady remind me how long it takes before being employed starts to rot though.. ;)
